I’m Mikala — the proud owner and creative spirit behind Northern Minnesota’s most enchanting mobile bar, The Tippy Cauldron. Born and raised in the Northland, my heart has always been rooted in this community. There’s something truly magical about bringing people together — the laughter, the connection, and the memories created in a single evening.
The Tippy Cauldron was born from my love of hosting and my passion for turning ordinary gatherings into unforgettable experiences. But I don’t just want to be your bartender — I want to be part of your story. I want to understand your vision, your dreams, and what makes your celebration meaningful. Whether it’s a wedding, milestone birthday, or once-in-a-lifetime event, I’m here to help elevate your experience and make it feel personal, intentional, and uniquely you.
In 2025, I was directly impacted by the Brimson Complex Fire. I nearly lost my home — thankfully, it was spared, along with one very special chicken, Reba. Many of my neighbors were not as fortunate. Watching my community face such heartbreaking loss deeply affected me and reminded me just how fragile and precious life’s big moments truly are. In response, I founded Brimson Strong, a nonprofit created to support those affected and to help our community rebuild and stay connected.
That experience strengthened something I’ve always believed: people matter, their stories matter, and showing up for one another matters. My community — and my heart — will always be in the Northland. Being invited into your biggest life moments is something I never take lightly. It’s an honor to stand beside you as you celebrate love, milestones, and new beginnings.
At The Tippy Cauldron, it’s never just about serving drinks. It’s about creating an atmosphere where memories are made and stories are shared. From custom drink menus to thoughtfully styled setups, every detail is crafted with care and intention.
